Wanted: Dead or In Love by Kym Brunner Book Spotlight!

In her debut novel, Wanted: Dead or in Love, Kym Brunner deftly
combines a ghost story and a love story as outlaw lovers Bonnie and
Clyde come back to “haunt” a modern girl entranced by their legend

A&E, Lifetime, and The History Channel will premiere film and mini-
series versions of the story of Bonnie and Clyde in late 2013 or early
2014. Fascination with the criminal lovebirds means definite crossover
and mass market potential for Wanted: Dead Or In Love

Liam Neeson is set to star in a feature film called Highwaymen, playing,
with Woody Harrelson, the two Texas Rangers who hunted down
Bonnie and Clyde, who were as popular as rock stars in the 1930s

Wanted: Dead or In Love

Kym Brunner

Monroe Baker isn’t known for good choices. An impulsive high school
senior on probation for a recent minor crime, she’s working to stay out of
trouble—by working as a flapper at her father’s roaring 20’s dinner show
theater. When she cuts herself on a spent bullet from her father’s gangster
memorabilia, she unwittingly awakens the spirit of murderous lovely Bon-
nie Parker, who begins speaking to Monroe inside her head. When Mon-
roe shows the slugs to her new guy pal, Jack, he is quickly infected by none
other than Clyde Barrow. When Jack commits a crime while infected by
Clyde’s spirit, the teens learn, through what may or may not be spirit world
communication, they have one day to ditch the killer sweethearts or share
their minds and bodies with them forever. But when romantic feelings de-
velop between unlikely characters, everyone is left scrambling to figure out
who’s going to hell, literally and figuratively.
