I'm so so excited to be on this tour because I adored book 1, ever since I read it when it came out it's been firmly on my favourites shelf and it's one of my all time favourite books EVER (plus just look at those covers)!! I have book 2 to read after my current read and I can't wait!!! Seriously guys, this is a series that needs to be read, you need to be introduced to the HEX BOYS!!! Well, mostly me, but the guys tagged along so you have to at least act like you’re interested in what they have to say. Careful guys, she’s Irish. She might blast you with her fiery temper. Not me though. She loves me.

Logan: *rolls eyes* Natalie does want us all here. She’s been one of our biggest supporters for a long time. She’s asked us here to talk about our favorite things, not for you to flirt.  

Blake: I can’t help it. Flirting is in my CPA.

Logan: It’s DNA.

Blake: That too.

Logan: I give up.

Blake: I never give up on the ladies. Especially you, Natalie. *winks* And Logan, that’s the difference between you and me. It’s why you don’t have a girlfriend.

Tristan: That’s the only reason? I thought it was because he practically faints anytime a girl smiles at him.

Logan: *Blushes* I do not. And you don’t have girlfriend either, Blake.

Blake: Only because I can’t decide on one. I don’t have the heart to disappoint the lesions of Team Blake’s adoring fans.  

Jayden: You mean legions. Fans wouldn’t be a type of injury.  

Logan: They would if they were Blake’s fans.

Tristan: He doesn’t have any fans!

Blake: You’re just mad because you don’t even have a team.

Tristan: I could have a team.

Ayden: Hey, I’m impressed he knew the word “legumes.” Give him some points for that.

Matthias: *growls* You bloody idiots! Just shut it and talk about your favorite things.  Natalie doesn’t want to hear your ridiculous babble, and we’ve got to get back to little things like ridding the world of demons.

Tristan: And keeping Aurora safe.

Matthias: That one can wait.

Ayden: *shoves Matthias’s shoulder* You’re such a jerk.

Matthias: Don’t start with me. You’re the one stupid enough to want to do the whole fake boyfriend fiasco so—

Tristan: Okay, but I can answer for Blake too. His favorite thing is girls.

Blake: You are so wrong. It’s not girls. It’s the ladies. And it’s only because I’m their favorite thing so it’s only fair. Quid pro quo and all.

*Several beats of silence*

Tristan: Did he just—

Ayden: Use quid pro quo—

Logan: Correctly in a sentence?

Jayden: I’m dumfounded.

Blake: Dude, you’re one of the smartest guys I know. Don’t call yourself dumb.

Ayden: And he’s back.

Logan: *lets out long breath* Whew.

Tristan: Yeah, I feel better too.

Matthias: Come on! Sorry Natalie. Getting off track here. Back to favorite things. Blake’s are gir— sorry, the ladies and—

Blake: Don’t forget the great outdoors. Plants, trees, flowers blooming, mountains, deserts. I love everything about the earth. My favorite thing is exploring it and all its beauty. And I want to share it with all the—

Matthias: Ladies. We’ve got it. Logan?

Logan: Um, okay. My favorite things are cars. And driving them. Fast.

Blake: So, Logan likes fast cars and fast women.

Logan: *whacks Blake’s shoulder* I didn’t say fast women.

Blake: So you like slow women?

Matthias: Moving on. Jayden? And don’t say science. Or big words.

Jayden:  Are you expressing the desire that I don’t verbalize large words or I can’t express that they are my favorite thing? And by big, are you defining the actual length of the word or its level of complexity?

Matthias: *glares*

Jayden: Understood. While I do love cooking, I will denote my favorite thing as learning something new. Since my accumulation of knowledge is so immense, perceiving something of which I was previously unaware of circulates a tremendous joy. Which is why Aurora’s anomalous propensities are so fascinating.

Matthias:  The only thing fascinating is that you find Aurora fascinating. Tristan?

Tristan: It’s Comic Con. Hands down.

Blake: Who’s she? And why does she have her hands down? Is that some sort of kinky thing you two do?

Tristan: It’s not a she, it’s a convention. It’s my favorite because it takes all of my favorite stuff, comic books, sci fi, fantasy, super heroes, video games, anime, and puts it under one roof. It’s awesome! I go every year. I’m hoping to take my dad next time. He’d love it.

Ayden: It’s nerdvana. Just like your bedroom.

Blake: I wanna go. She sounds fun. And kinky.

Tristan: It’s not a girl!

Logan: Why didn’t you ever take us?

Matthias: I wouldn’t take us. Ayden, how about you? And you can’t say Aurora. I just ate.

Ayden: Fine. My favorite thing is something that hasn’t happened yet. A regular, normal, full length, uninterrupted by any morons, meaning you guys, demons, or near-death experiences…date with Aurora.

Matthias: I knew you were going to make me nauseous.

Ayden: Oh, shut up. Like you’re favorite thing doesn’t make everyone’s skin crawl.

Blake: Yeah, dude. What is it? Figuring out how to get away with Aurora’s murder?

Tristan:  Building a death ray?

Logan: Stealing candy from babies?

Jayden: Deracinating appendages from papilionoidea?

*The boys stare at Jayden*

Ayden: I think he means pulling wings off of butterflies.

Jayden: That’s what I said.

Blake: Sure dude.

Matthias: *rolls eyes* No, you nitwits. It’s storytime with Selena and Bubbles.

Ayden: *sighs* Reading stories to an adorable five-year-old and her favorite stuffed platypus? I hate it when you show your softer side. Couldn’t you just stick with the dark and brooding thing?

Logan: He always likes to make us look bad.

Matthias: Like that’s hard.

Ayden: We can add it to his list of favorite things.

Matthias: Good idea. Natalie, thanks for putting up with us. It’s been pleasure.

Blake: Can I stay for dinner? I want some of your awesome Irish cooking.

Logan: She already has four boys to deal with.

Blake: So what’s six more?

Ayden: Including you? A big pain. Thanks Natalie, we’re happy to visit anytime!

Blake: Can I at least get a hug?

Matthias:  Get him out of here.
