Nightlight: The Mosaic Files 1 by Heather Hildenbrand and Brina Courtney Cover Reveal!

Welcome to the cover reveal for Nightlight by Heather Hildenbrand and Brina Courtney. Before we get to the gorgeous cover though, here's the blurb.

For fans of HEROES and X-MEN…

Young love can be deadly. At seventeen, Hadley Grace knows it all too well.
When her boyfriend mysteriously dies in her arms, Hadley’s parents are terrified. MONSTER, they call her. CRIMINAL, they whisper behind her back. Hadley is forced from her home, and her once comfortable life, into the unknown with only one rule from the loving parents who raised her: Never come back.

Heartbroken and alone, Hadley arrives at Little Hearts Orphanage, a place filled with others like her. Through training, Hadley learns more about her skills and her protective nature. She is a Mosaic. A scientific anomaly of the human race capable of things most other teenagers only dream of.
Hadley soon discovers this world is much different than the one she left behind. Mosaics are a hot commodity. Someone’s always chasing you, wanting to use what you have. Hadley is never going to let that happen.
But how can she keep herself and her new friends safe, when with one touch, they’re gone?

The Mosaic Files by Brina Courtney and Heather Hildenbrand, a serial series, coming Spring 2015.

About the Authors

Heather Hildenbrand was born and raised in a small town in northern Virginia where she was homeschooled through high school. (She’s only slightly socially awkward as a result.) Since 2011, she’s published more than eight YA & NA novels including the bestselling Dirty Blood series. She splits her time between coastal Virginia and the island of Guam and loves having a mobile career and outrageous lifestyle of living in two places. Her most frequent hobbies are riding motorcycles and avoiding killer slugs.
Heather is also a publishing and success coach bent on equipping and educating artists who call themselves authors. She loves teaching fellow writers how to create the same freedom-based lifestyle she enjoys. For more information visit and find out how to create your own Outrageous Life.
She is represented by Rebecca Friedman. You can find out more about Heather and her books at

My parents wanted to name me something that couldn't be shortened so "Brina" came out of a baby book. It's pronounced like the water filter but with an "n" instead of a "t." I know I wish it was more exciting too, but sadly, it's really not. Though it's different and I like it.
I've been writing professionally for over three years. I also teach in an elementary school and I coach high school cheerleading.
After finally landing a teaching job I was only employed for two years before the furloughs started. If you're from PA you know that teachers are facing the biggest budget cuts we've ever seen, so when I lost my job I decided to start writing the Cryptid Tales novels. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
